How to paint body

- Wash with neutral soap and a soft cloth the internal part of body to remove residues of mold release, grease or oil to guarantee a good adhesion of painting.

- Dry it with a paper towel or a soft cloth making sure not to scrape it.

- Mask the windows inside the body with the supplied vinyl.

- Draw your design over the protective cover film with a fine point Sharpie marker.

- Mask the inside of your body according to your drawing.

- Make sure to cut mask with a light pressure of the X-Acto knife.

TOO MUCH PRESSURE CUTS THE LEXAN AND WITH A HIT THE BODY OPENS IN THAT SECCION.

- Before painting we recommend to verify and mark body mount posts. If needed you can trim all the body or just the necessary parts.

- Paint the body. We recommend to leave the body and spray can at the sun for 10 minutes before painting. Improves adhesion and losses the paint inside spray can for a good mix when shaking the can.

(Not necessarily but we recommend not to paint in rainy days due to the humidity on the air because reduces the adhesion of paintings)

- After trimming by the lines with a curved scissor and fit to your chassis, we recommend to smooth all cut edges with sandpaper or Dremel not leaving small cuts made with the scissor.

- Remove all masks inside the body.

- Remove the external cover film.

- Enjoy your new body.
